I installed GoldMine 9.2 on an SBS 2008 server with no problem. But when I tried to do a workstation install on a Windows 7 virtual machine, the installer could not see the mapped drive to the server’s GoldMine installation.

GoldMine Time Bomb Triggered in 2011

GoldMine Date Issue 1 When I started GoldMine 6.5 for the first time in 2011, I was greeted with a rather unwelcome message:  “Please note that your computer’s system date is erroneously set to 1/1/2011. GoldMine’s synchronization may not function properly unless the system date is set correct. Would you like to correct the system’s date now?” If you press Yes, the Date and Time Properties open so you can change the date. But the date is correct!

GoldMine Sync ERROR 00000024

Sometimes the most difficult problems have the simplest solutions.

I’m using GoldMine 6.50.40704. For years I was able to sync with Outlook using the built-in wizard. Since upgrading from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007, I could no longer sync. The transfer set was created successfully, but then I got two ERROR 00000024 messages, and the nothing was synced to Outlook.

Free MCB GoldPop Program Loads GoldMine Record from 3CX CallerID

I’ve recently changed my in-house PBX from Linux-based PBX in a Flash to Windows-based 3CX. One of the cool things about 3CX is the included 3CX Assistant, a call manager that runs on each user’s PC. Not only does it show who is on a call, it has built-in functionality to pop up the caller’s Outlook contact when a call comes in.
